Just £4.00 per session.
Freerunning is the art of movement, using the practitioner (freerunner or traceurs) own body to get from point A - B as efficiently as possible.
Through time, the way people move in this art changes with core principles being balance, precision, strength and climbing, but people also throw in methods from acrobatics, break dancing, capoeira and gymnastics.
Movement such as this has been around since the dawn of time, but a group called "Yamakasi" from the suburbs of France developed these primal moves.
Parkour/freerunning only hit the mainstream around 2003 with programmes such as Jump London and Jump Britain, and even feature film presentations such as James Bond: Casino Royale.
Central Freerunning sessions are run by A.D.A.P.T qualified instructor Frazer Meek of Fluidity Freerun (www.fluidityfreerun.co.uk) , you will be around like minded individuals of a varied age and experience (male and female), given a freerunning orientated warm up, and then have tutored help on the basics and advanced moves, and space to explore the gym and jam with the other members at your own pace. A great substitute to working out in a gym, a very dynamic sport that uses every part of your body, in a fun way that has far less restraints than any other sport or art form out there. Great for the body and mind!
